About Us

The idea of The Nearside Saddlery & Outfitters was born like any other brilliant idea - around the dinner table after a few beverages between mates.  With Kathleen looking for a new challenge after baby number 2 & Shelby seeking a change of pace it was decided - the girls could do this!  Then began months of contacting suppliers, finding & renovating a retail space & pulling it all together just in time for their opening on the 5th of July 2025 - with the help of their husbands and a few local trades.

Our focus was to bring a saddlery back into town, where you could get the simplest of tack items like a girth or pull up strap to brand new saddles - along with it apparel for the working cowboy & cowgirl.  

In store we have a large variety of tack, horse accessories, jeans, boots, hats & saddles - brand new & second hand
